Inspired by a visit to Tikal in Guatemala, Amlin became enamored by the calligraphy on classic Maya polychrome pottery. This art form drove her on a 30 year quest to produce, direct and hand draw the animated film, Popol Vuh followed by the Five Sons; the sacred history of Mexico.
"A great and ground-breaking film."
